Shaun Sings Country – ’90s Edition is a new live show centered on the artists and
songs that defined 1990s country music, including music made famous by Alan
Jackson, George Strait, Tim McGraw, and Travis Tritt.
The show is led by Shaun Johnson, an Iowa native, Emmy® Award winner, and
longtime frontman of Tonic Sol-fa, with whom he toured nationally for more than
two decades. During that same period, Shaun lived and worked in Nashville—
writing songs, touring, and collaborating with many artists from the era. His work
recently notched a Top 5 album on the Billboard® charts as well as appearances on
both HBO and NBC.
Rather than a tribute act, the performance pairs well-known songs with firsthand context from Shaun’s time in the industry, offering insight into the music, the songwriting, and the culture of country music during its commercial peak.
Shaun is joined by a seasoned band featuring David Stanoch on drums, Louis Stanoch on guitar, and Jeremy Boettcher on bass. Together, they present a focused concert experience rooted in musicianship and storytelling, with an emphasis on the songs themselves.
