Is dining included with my purchase of a ticket?
Yes! Every guest who purchases a ticket to any of our events receives a wonderful dining experience. Your event ticket includes our house greens salad with choice of dressing, a selection of entrée options, warm house breads and butter along with coffee, tea and iced water services. Additional beverages, starters, shared plates, entrée upgrades, and desserts are available for purchase and may be added during your dining experience.

May I bring my child?
While family-friendly shows are available, infants are not permitted in the theater. Children ages 5 and older are welcome.
How do I get to The Ingersoll Theater?
The Ingersoll Theater is located at 3711 Ingersoll Ave., Des Moines, in the Avenues District, an arts-centered and walkable neighborhood of downtown Des Moines. Nearby bus lines serve Ingersoll Avenue, and the area is pedestrian-friendly with bike lanes and sidewalks.
When is The Ingersoll Theater open?
The theater is scheduled to reopen on New Year's Eve, December 31st, 2025. We will have our grand opening with two spectacular NYE events featured: "New Year's Lover w/ Napoleon Douglas & his Jazz Orchestra", and "NYE w/ The Grand Marquis." We can't wait to welcome 2026 with you!
What Items are Prohibited? + Weapons Policy
For the safety and comfort of all guests, artists, and staff, weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited at The Ingersoll.
This includes (but is not limited to) firearms, knives, pepper spray, tasers, or any other dangerous items.
Other prohibited items include:
Outside food or beverages (including alcohol)
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted in the venue
Illegal drugs or paraphernalia
Air horns, noisemakers, or laser pointers
Large bags or backpacks
Professional cameras, drones, or recording devices
Balloons, inflatables, or flags on poles
All guests and belongings are subject to screening. Items not permitted must be returned to your vehicle or discarded before entry.
Venue staff cannot hold or store items.
Local law enforcement may be notified if illegal or dangerous materials are found.
Only trained service animals are allowed inside the venue.
