Parking

Finding The Ingersoll is simple, thanks to our convenient location in the heart of the Avenues District in downtown Des Moines. We have limited parking available, and our location provides easy access from major highways. Additional parking options, including street and nearby lot parking, are also available for your convenience.

Dinner: Every ticket to The Ingersoll includes a delicious dining experience, specially curated to match the theme of each show. Enjoy your meal in the theater before the show, making your night truly unforgettable. Check our our sample dinner menus here.
Timing of Dinner: Dinner seating begins two hours before show time. *For a 2:00 pm matinee performance, please arrive between 12:00 and 12:30 pm. *For a 7:30 pm evening performance, please arrive between 5:30 and 6pm. Our hosts will scan your tickets at the door and escort you to your table!

Pre-Theater

Enhance your evening with a visit to The Mezzanine Cocktail Bar, available exclusively to patrons with Club Mezzanine access, one hour before seating. Indulge in signature cocktails, an extensive selection of wines and spirits, or enjoy a craft beer in this elegant, intimate space. Our award-winning bartender has carefully curated drink menus to complement your evening.

Seating

The Main Dinner Theater seats up to 225 guests, offering an immersive dining and show experience. For those seeking a premium view, our Mezzanine VIP section accommodates 44 guests, including 16 seats on a luxurious perch overlooking the stage. Club Seating (Tables 43–51) is located upstairs and includes access to a private bar and private restrooms. Please note that our venue features cabaret-style seating, which means you and your party may share a table with other guests. When purchasing tickets, we recommend selecting seats across from each other (e.g., seats 1 & 2, 3 & 4, or 5 & 6). Be sure to check out our Seating Charts to choose the perfect spot for your visit.
